This summer, I witnessed many go on vacation. When I mean many, I mean many, I mean 2 close friends and a bunch of other facebook friends hehe. One of my friends visited her relatives who live in Switzerland, so she got to tour around Switzerland, Brussels, Amsterdam, Antwerpen, and Rust. Now that I think about it, that was many places! Unexpectedly, she brought Swiss chocolate with her to share and it tasted so smooth!! The chocolate instantly melted and formed a bed sheet on my tongue allowing the chocolate-ness to delight my taste buds. *___*
After summer school ended which was a couple weeks ago, I've been idling around, watching dramas, going to the library, meeting up with friends, and somewhat pre-studying. I've been watching the Korean drama Lie to Me (almost finished with it) and I will move on to Miss Ripley soon.

Next summer, I plan to volunteer, since I haven't done so for more than a year now. I really want to build up my self-esteem and gain more experience. I'm going into my second year this upcoming September. In third year, I plan to retake first year courses to boost my grades up. So it would most likely take me 5 years to complete my Bachelor. Yesterday, I did some "accounting" work and realized the amount of money that went into schooling. My parents don't let me work, so I heavily rely on them for financial support, and they've been providing me for my education. Asian parents don't really show implicit affection towards their children. So I guess my parents wanting me to have a good future serves as them caring for me. It hit me, that I do need to take my education seriously, so I will try very hard not to slack off and procrastinate like I did in first year and aim to be a better person each day.
The weather this summer has been beautiful lately, not too hot and not so cool. I hope everyone will have a terrific week ahead!!~~~
